SDM-Corse Racing part ways with Beta

Beta were a new manufacture in the MXGP paddock for the 2021 season and enjoyed two good season’s with the SDM-Corse Racing team. The Italian based team managed to lure Jeremy Van Horebeek to the team who did a great job developing a new bike.

Beta though will go in a different direction for the 2023 season as SDM-Corse Racing have parted ways with the manufacture.

“The collaboration with Betamotor comes to an end for us. SDM-Corse would like to thank the Company for the trust given to us during these seasons, and for choosing our Team to bring Beta Motocross bikes back to the racing tracks after many years. They have been challenging and very exciting seasons, which have strengthened our professionalism even more and allowed us to collect unexpected and important results for the debut of a completely new bike. A special thanks goes to Jeremy Van Horebeek, who, like us, believed in this project and accompanied us on this adventure, showing the determination of a true Champion, without which we would not have been able to fight for the top ten in the top class right from the start”, revealed an SDM-Corse statement.

We believe that Marchetti Racing will run the Factory Beta team from 2023 but that is still to be made official. The SDM-Corse team will also change brands and race selected MXGP events.
