Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s 450 team heads into the 2025 Pro Motocross season with its powerhouse three-rider lineup looking to add another number one plate to the doors of the race truck. The newly crowned three-time 450SX Champion Cooper Webb and Justin Cooper are coming in hot after a strong finish to the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season, with Eli Tomac back to full fitness and looking to come out swinging as Pro Motocross gets underway this weekend in Southern California.

After executing a successful campaign to earn his third 450SX Championship, Webb is looking to carry that momentum into the outdoor season. The six-time AMA Supercross/Motocross Champion showed true grit and determination, claiming the crown with five wins and a total of 13 podiums. After being sidelined last year with an injury, Webb is eager to kick off his first full outdoor season with the team aboard the YZ450F.

Tomac is also fired up for the Pro Motocross season. In top form in 2025, the eight-time AMA Supercross/Motocross Champion earned his 53rd-career 450SX victory with a statement ride at San Diego Supercross, coming out on top in a heavyweight fight to the finish. Unfortunately, he was sidelined for most of the season after breaking his Fibula during qualifying at the Tampa Supercross. Back and hungrier than ever, Tomac has his sights set on a fifth 450MX title and heads into this season fourth on the all-time Pro Motocross premier class win list with 32 victories.

Cooper enjoyed a strong finish to his sophomore season indoors, ending the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season third in the overall points standings with four podium finishes. The 2021 250SX West Champion looks to carry that progress outdoors and build off last year’s impressive rookie season, where he finished fourth in the 450MX points standings with two overall podiums and eight top-five overall finishes.

Rich Simmons – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 450 Team Manager
“Moving into the outdoor season, we are looking forward to having our three-man roster back. Eli has a good amount of motocross laps under his belt as he rehabbed his leg injury, so it will be exciting to see him back on track. Cooper and Justin should carry in with them a lot of confidence from Supercross, with the success they had in that series. This was a quick turnaround for us, so I’d like to give a big thanks to the whole team for the long hours and hard work!”

Cooper Webb – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing #2
