Chase Sexton had a nightmare in race one of round one of Pro Motocross. After being forced to toss his goggles on lap two things would get a lot worse when, while riding in fourth and holding Tomac at bay, Sexton went down hard with the bike landing on him and was forced to pull out of the moto!
The defending 450 US motocross champ, who had all the momentum coming in with race wins in supercross and no injuries, loses 25 points immediately in round one to his rivals.
*Update: It has now been confirmed that Chase Sexton is OUT of moto two and is in the medical centre getting checked out after feeling beaten up with a sore shoulder. A disastrous start to Sexton’s title defence and not good for the series either just when everyone was finally healthy again.
