The Verde Sports KTM team have offered an update on Kyle McNicol after he was involved in a serious road traffic collision last month.
The full extent of Kyle’s injuries are still unknown at this stage but the team posted the following update:
“Kyle spent 5 Days is Neuro ICU before being moved to General ICU where he stayed for 13 days before being transferred to the Major Trauma Unit, Kyle spent a further 7 days in the Major Trauma unit & made steady progress attending rehab & physio daily”.
“Kyle was then admitted to the Neurological Rehabilitation Unit last Wednesday where he is now receiving further Rehabilitation & Assessments. The full extent off Kyle’s injuries are still unknown at this point, but he is very focused on getting home & working hard to get there”.
“We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for their continued messages of support for Kyle & his family. A special Thank you to the huge Team of professionals at the QEUH in Glasgow who have been tirelessly looking after Kyle & his friend Brett (who is also progressing well) since the moment they have been admitted to hospital to now & beyond. All the team, riders and sponsors wish Kyle all the best with his recovery”.
