Van Horebeek: Enjoying the Beta process

After a week break we had the second round of the FIM Motocross World championship at the beautiful venue, Matterley Basin near Winchester (Great Britain). It was the 11th British Grand Prix held at this amazing location, very special for riders and spectators due the great view of the entire circuit.

In time practice our Belgian Factory Beta rider couldn’t do better than set a 15th time. After a very bad start in the first race, he could still finish in 15th position.

The start of the second race was much better now and “The Jerre” came out the first turn around 10th position. Once he found the right pace on his SDM Corse Beta RX 450, he overtake some riders and was batteling with Jonass, Prado and Coldenhof, what resulted in a great 8th place. Jerre end the GP in 11th place, just 1 point from top ten. Next week we will be on home soil with the Italan MXGP in Maggiora.

Jeremy Van Horebeek: “Some great feelings in the second MXGP of the season! First moto I had a really bad start and made some mistakes to finish in P15, P15 is not what we want. We learn more and more every time we go on track so we made some changes for the second Moto what was really positive and gave me a great racing speed to finish in P8, and battle with the other factory bikes. We are on the good way and I enjoy the process and we keep building step by step. Thank you Beta and the SDM Corse Team for al the hard work. I’m so thankful to be in this team!”
