DIGA Procross KTM athlete Liam Everts put in another great performance at the Czech Republic MXGP in Loket. Conrad Mewse unfortunately misses out on the points on his debut.

Belgian DIGA Procross KTM Racing athlete Liam Everts continues to establish himself in the MX2 World Championship and confirmed his rising form curve at the MXGP in Loket. Conrad Mewse could not handle the power of the KTM 450 SX-F on the hard track in Loket and struggled in both races.

· Liam Everts finishes both rounds in the top 10
· Conrad Mewse still needs to get used to the power of the 450s
· Next MXGP for DIGA Procross KTM Racing in Lommel, Belgium

Liam Everts struggled a bit with the track and bike set-up on Saturday, but qualified ninth for Sunday’s races. On the race Sunday, Everts was in brilliant form and quickly found his rhythm in the first heat, finishing in seventh place. In the second heat, Liam Everts crashed in the first corner after the start and had to fight his way forward once through the entire field. After 30 minutes and two laps, Liam was shown the chequered flag in a brilliant ninth place. In the day’s standings, Liam occupies eighth place overall.

Liam Everts: “On Saturday I struggled a bit with the set-up, but after some small adjustments we were able to find a great set-up for Sunday. I am very satisfied with the weekend and happy about the two top 10 results. Now it’s full focus on my home race in Lommel next weekend.“

The 23-year-old Briton Conrad Mewse, who made his debut for DIGA Procross KTM Racing in the MXGP class this weekend, looks back on a difficult MXGP in the Czech Republic. On both Saturday and Sunday, Conrad Mewse struggled with the power of the bike and the hard track, and was therefore unable to deliver his usual pace.

Conrad Mewse: “Places 27 and 24 were not what I wanted for my debut, but having only tested once on a hard track before, it was the best I could do. I am looking forward to going to the deep sand of Lommel next week.“

The next race for DIGA Procross KTM Racing will take place on 24 July in Lommel, Belgium.
