Simon Laengenfelder set the pace in the first MX2 timed practice session of the year in Argentina at a superb circuit – it is AMA style!
It was a KTM 1-2-3 with a very fast Sacha Coenen second and former champion, Andrea Adamo third fastest.
Reigning champion, Kay de Wolf was fourth quickest with Honda HRC new recruit Valerio Lata rounding out the top five.
Thibault Benistant had a small crash but set the sixth best time with Camden McLellan seventh.
EMX250 champion, Mathis Valin was eight ahead of Cas Valk.
