Dutch talent, Roan van de Moosdijk set the pace in MX2 timed practice ahead of impressive privateer, Jan Pancar and Thibault Benistant. Jago Geerts was fifteenth fastest 3.7 seconds off the pace with Kay de Wolf seventeenth and 4.9 seconds off pole.
In MXGP, it was Jeffrey Herlings setting the pace with Jorge Prado second ahead of the super fast Alberto Forato.
