Stolen goods at VMXDN

No, no, it’s not what you think! This headline is actually a positive one because we’re please to announce that we have a new team entered for the Wright Engineering National Team Race.

That new team is ‘Stolen Brand’ and they’re very much bringing ‘the goods’ to the VetsMXDN at Foxhill in the form of AMA Supercross racer Dylan Woodcock, former British motocross champion Kristian Whatley and Le Touquet and Weston Beach champion Todd Kellett!

All three riders will be racing Yamaha YZ250’s and will be numbers 10 – 12. With plenty of racing and global experience between them it’s a formidable team that will definitely be in contention to make the podium or even take the win, however Anthony ‘Revs’ Revell, team manager and owner of the Stolen Brand, which is a hugely successful BMX company, knows it’s going to take some good performances and some luck on the day as much as anyone, as a former European and World BMX champion himself.

“Whatever happens I’m sure we’ll have a good time racing the VMXDN, that’s what it’s all about really, but of course we want to go there and try and win it if we can. It won’t be easy as there’s some good, young and current British championship riders racing and they’ll be hard to beat but you just never know, especially with evo racing” says Revs. “I couldn’t resist putting a team together really. I went to the event last year and also supported it as a partner and it was fantastic, brilliant. So when the opportunity came along to put a team together I didn’t need too much convincing really. I’ve helped all three riders as a sponsor at some point in their career so I got on the phone to them all and thankfully they’re all up for it. I’ve sourced the bikes and now the big builds will start, we’ll get them looking trick and hopefully working well. I’ve already managed to get a couple of brands on board in Talon and Twin Air and will be speaking to a few more people yet. We want to go there, look the part, do a good job and soak up the atmosphere. Fair play to Dave and Wobs, because it is a cracking event, we’re really looking forward to it. So much so, I’m currently trying to sort a beer sponsor for the pit crew!”

The Stolen Brand team have got everything planned out for a cracking weekend – Have you got your plans sorted?
