Stewart on Jett Lawrence

James Stewart always has great analysis and looking back at Jett Lawrences ride to third in Glendale, Stewart said:

“I see a lot of myself in Jett.”

“I think Jett is young and the only time you can get at him is when he is battling people. On the outside looking in, when I watched him, he gets caught in what he’s doing right there”.

“When he battles what’s right in front of him he comes up short on the triple or the double. I wouldn’t say he gets flustered but he’s so entrenched on the things that are happening right now”.

“What makes Jett good is when he is out front he is really aware of everything, he’s planning for the corner that’s two corners from now.”

“The only time I feel like those guys can gey him is when they are battling him. If you allow him to ride and be free he will whoop your ass.”

Let’s see if his rivals, like Webb, Sexton, Roczen and Anderson will try to put Jett in that situation this weekend…

It’s set up for some good battles!
