SM Action KTM confirm the signing of Devin Simonson

Italian based team, SM Action KTM have confirmed the signing of Devin Simonson who has been busy racing the AMA Supercross season. We revealed the news yesterday after Simonson told Steve Matthes from Pulp MX after the last Supercross race of the season.

The team have confirmed that he’ll make his MX2 World Championship debut at Kegums for round eight of the series and he’ll race the rest of the season even when Tondel makes his return to racing. It’s a great opportunity for Simonson to race all around the world visiting a number of countries and seeing different cultures.

The SM Action team revealed the news in the following statement:

“After the indefinite stoppage of Cornelius Tondel, the team from Modena have decided to sign up the American rider of Devin Simonson.

The strong American rider, with already excellent performances in the AMA Supercross main events behind him, is soon ready to join the team under the awning, he will contest in the MX2 World Championship for the rest of the season. His debut is set for the Latvian GP”.
