Chase Sexton missed getting landed on by an inch in a heart stopping moment that could have ended his career let alone his night in San Diego!

After that heart-stopping moment, Sexton fell in the corner before the whoops but unleashed his speed to charge the whole way back to sixth in a great ride to stay very much in the championship hunt.

Afterwards Sexton said:

“It was a chaotic night for me. I fell on the first lap and had to do a lot of work to catch back up. I felt like my riding was really good and the bike felt good, so honestly, we just need to work on our starts and get ready for Anaheim 2. I feel pretty confident with where I’m at, so I’m excited.”
