Despite some recent injuries and being up there in the 250 West championship, RJ Hampshire has taken the decision to race a 450 at Daytona.
Hampshire is always fast but does have a crash in him – will the 450 make him smoother? It doesn’t happen as much as it used to 20-30 years ago but it’s great to see riders step up to the main class on the opposite 250 coast. It’s a pity Honda don’t allow Jett to do it as well!
