The names continue to drop for the final round of the Irish Motocross Championship, with the event set to feature a stacked entry list this weekend.
So far, Taylor Hammal, Josh Gilbert, Joel Rizzi and Tristan Purdon have all been confirmed, while the event will also feature Ireland’s top local talent alongside Chambers KTM.
We can now confirm that two of Britain’s brightest young talents, Jamie Keith and Charlie Richmond, will also make the trip across to Northern Ireland this weekend to contest the final round of the Irish Championship.
Both Keith and Richmond are competing in their first season on 250cc machinery and have already impressed contesting the British Championship. The pair are considered to have very bright futures in the sport if they can continue their development and progression.
The duo will line up this Sunday at Mountain Quarter MX track in Saul, Northern Ireland, where they will take on a strong field of riders across the championship classes.
With so many big names now confirmed, the final round is shaping up to be a fantastic day of racing.
Jamie Keith:
“I’m really excited to be racing in Ireland. It will be my first time racing in Ireland since I was on a 65cc but that was at the Arenacross so we will be racing outdoors this time. I can’t wait to mix it up again with the big 450cc riders. Hopefully we end the weekend somewhere at the top of the field”.
Charlie Richmond:
“I am looking forward to racing in Ireland again. The last time for me was at Desertmartin when I raced a 65cc. I am looking forward to racing the Irish championship this weekend against some fast riders. It will be good preparation for the final British Championship round”.
