Race one: Tim Gajser made a decisive pass on Jorge Prado at turn three and that move won him the race despite Prado and Herlings pushing hard behim him right until the end of the moto. At different stages of the race all three had their moments of being the fastest man on track but Gajser had track position and took a hard earned win under big pressure.
Race two: Jeffrey Herlings took the second moto win after shadowing Tim Gajser all moto and then took advantage of a small tip-over by the Slovenian.
Gajser took the overall win overall win over Herlings but the big story was Jorge Prado who went down in a second turn pile-up and had to DNF and limped off his bike – let’s hope it’s nothing serious for the defending world champion!
