Add Lommel moto one 2024 to the list of Jeffrey Herlings’ jaw-dropping rides! Jorge Prado holeshot and pulled out an 8 second lead on Herlings who couldn’t get the flow despite moving quickly into second after starting fourth. Herlings then got in his groove and was reeling in Prado when a backmarker got in his way and left Herlings on the ground!

Now, 15 seconds back and with 20 minutes gone, it looked like Prado had it in the bag, but Herlings then turned superhuman. He put down lap times that were 2-3 seconds faster and more than Prado – who was still going faster than everyone else not named Herlings!
Herlings put the fastest lap of the race in on lap 12 – edging Prado’s fastest lap that came on lap one! Herlings reeled Prado in in a handful of laps, made the move and eased away for an incredible win.
There is no-one else on the planet that could have lived with that speed at Lommel, prime time Jeffrey Herlings is back! Jorge Prado rode great and even walked over to Herlings with a big smile after his TV interview to high five the Dutch ace on an epic performance in a classy move. This was a ride that no-one at Lommel will ever forget.
Calvin Vlaanderen rode really well for third with Febvre fourth holding off Tim Gajser in fifth. Conrad Mewse was running in ninth until a crash and took 14th at the flag.
Jeffrey Herlings made things a bit easier in race two by not crashing! Herlings gates fourth as Prado again holeshot and pulled away early but by the halfway point Herlings made the move and took the win with Prado second. Romain Febvre eventually made the pass on Gajser for third, leaving the world championship leader going 4-5 on the day.
