Eli Tomac went fastest by half a second over teammate Dylan Ferrandis as the Star Racing Yamaha riders set the pace at Glendale with Eli saying he is really enjoying the track and looking very relaxed ahead of the first triple crown over the year. Cooper Webb was back in ninth – almost two seconds off Tomac!
In the 250 class it was Hunter Lawrence going fastest, beating Christian Craig in what will be a big confidence booster for the factory Honda rider, who didnt have his best pace last weekend.
