Eli Tomac took control of the 450 supercross series to go 1-1-3 at Glendale – and he even got great starts! Chase Sexton won the last moto but an 11th in the opening race meant he wasn’t a rival for the overall, likewise Jason Anderson, who crashed in the second heat while second and chasing Eli to come home 12th but did rebound to take second in race three, passing Tomac in the process as Tomac, Anderson and Sexton show themselves the class of the field in 2022, despite a great day for Malcolm Stewart who took second overall going 3-2-4. Another bad day for Webb in eighth and big trouble now if he wants to defend his title.
Hunter Lawrence took the win in the 250 class after Christian Craig got knocked down by Vince Friese but still maintened 2nd overall with 1-4-1.
