It’s good news for young Austrian, Rene Hofer as he’s finally got back on the bike and can start to prepare for the 2021 MX2 World Championship.
The Factory KTM rider moved up to the MX2 World Championship last year and had a strong start to the season – even leading at the opening round at Matterley Basin. After the first two rounds of the series he was sitting a strong fifth in the Championship standings.
Unfortunately, a fractured shoulder in Latvia meant he was ruled out for the rest of the season but he will be motivated to show what he can do in 2021 and will be hoping to stay injury free.
