Ramette wins night two in Belfast!

Thomas Ramette took the win on night two in Belfast at round five of the UK Arenacross championship.

The Frenchman gated second and patiently waited for his chance to make the move on early race leader Elliott Banks-Browne and then controlled the race at the front.

Behind him EBB was finally showing the pace he really had after a couple of weekends ruined by illness, with the Geartec Husky man fighting tooth and nail for a podium. Aussie Dan Reardon came from an average start to make the move into second with Banks-Browne following him home in third, giving both Reardon and Banks-Browne the best results of their season so far.

Cedric Soubeyras didn’t get the start he needed and cut a frustrated figure as he tried to pass his rivals, with the Frenchman finally getting through to fourth on the last lap.

Fabien Iziord rounded out the top five on the Buildbase Honda.

In the pro lites Joe Clayton took both moto wins and also sensationally made the 450 main by defeating Bobryshev and Greedy in the head-to-head races! Chris Bayliss took second with Jason Meara, the home town favourite, overcoming two bad starts to take the podium in front of his partisan fans.
