Race One: It was the Honda’s that were fast out of the gate with Tom Vialle leading the way around the first corner but it didn’t take Herlings long to get himself to the front. Vialle didn’t have the best first lap as Romain Febvre also passed him.
The Kawasaki man was looking good and started to catch Herlings, it was close at the front until about five minutes to go when Herlings found his groove and pulled away at the front.
Vialle looked to be dealing with technical issues which Andrea Adamo took advantage of to finish a strong third spot.
Race Two: It was Vialle with another holeshot as Herlings and Febvre both had to make passes on the first few laps. They got themselves into second and third respectively but Vialle was looking good.
Vialle was looking comfortable at the front but with five minutes to go Herlings made a decisive move on his team mate. Febvre would also find away around Vialle but it was too late to make a move on Herlings. That is now 125 GP overall wins for Herlings. What a season and what a career!
