Race results: MXGP World Championship RD14 – Five in a row for Febvre at Vantaa

Race One: Jeremy Seewer took the holeshot but it was Romain Febvre who attacked early. The KRT rider passed Prado and Seewer on the opening lap to get his way into lead and after that there wasn’t too much to split them but Febvre took a strong win in the end. Behind the front three, Coldenhoff rode a lonely ride for fourth with Fernandez looking good in fifth before a horrible crash resulting in him getting stretchered away – but hopefully he is okay! Herlings was running sixth before a visit to the goggle lane – in the end he ended up eighth on his MXGP return.

Race Two: It was another holeshot for Jorge Prado in the second race and this time he was able to keep Febvre behind on the opening lap. The Spaniard was looking comfortable at the front with Febvre huffing and puffing but just not able to make a move stick. Coldenhoff in third and a returning Herlings in fourth weren’t far off either in what was a hot pace at the front.
