Race results: MXGP World Championship RD13 – Seewer wins at Loket

The opening MXGP race belonged to Jeremy Seewer who had a superb moto – he started in third before passing Tim Gajser and Jorge Prado to pull away at the front for an impressive race win. Gajser passed Prado before settling in second with Maxime Renaux who’s making his return to racing finished a strong third. Prado faded to fifth after Glenn Coldenhoff made a move to end up fourth.

Romain Febvre was riding in eighth but seemed to have issues at around the halfway mark before coasting home to finish fifteenth. We believe he’s battling with an illness so decided to not race the second moto.

The second moto belonged to the very impressive Maxime Renaux on his return to racing. The French talent passed race one winner, Seewer and was able to keep the pace until the very end. Seewer with second took the GP overall at a very technical and slick Loket.

Gajser rode two steady races for third overall which is good enough considering the championship gap he has.
