Race results: MX2 World Championship RD6 – Frauenfeld – Langenfelder domination

Race One: It was a de Carli KTM 1-2 out of the gate with Sacha Coenen leading the way over Simon Langenfelder with the two Husqvarna riders behind that. Langenfelder was able to make a relatively quick pass on Coenen and then he cleared off at the front dominating – he’s loving the conditions!

After De Wolf, Everts and McLellan passed Coenen – it was an intense battle for second.  It is very hard to pass so neither could make passes but it was still good to watch.

Andrea Adamo will be frustrated as he suffered from an early crash and could only get back up to fifth but he had the pace to be in the battle at the front.

Guillem Farres had a strong ride on his return to finish seventh on the Triumph ahead of Cas Valk who held off Oriol Oliver. Thibault Benistant had a bad start and then a crash before finishing a disappointing eleventh.

Race Two: The second moto was a similar affair as far as Langenfelder is concerned. He got to the front early again and never looked back in very technical conditions. Adamo took a good start in second and this time avoided any mistakes to finish there ahead of Everts who is improving physically as the season continues.

De Wolf was sitting in fourth before a crash dropped him down to sixth. He needed to pass Lata and Benistant for the podium. He was able to pass the Yamaha rider on the last lap to make a podium happen!

The championship chase is now down to three points between de Wolf and Langenfelder!
