Race results: MX2 World Championship RD13 – Loket – Farres wins

Race One: It was an exciting first moto at Loket – it was Janis Reisulis who was leading the way after a great first lap. Guillem Farres passed Simon Längenfelder and then set his sights on Reisulis. He was able to make a move and then controlled things at the front.

But Camden McLellan was charging, he came from outside the top ten but made lots of passes and with two to go was coming. He almost made a move on Farres but just as he tried to get around the Spaniard he couldn’t make a pass stick and went down – but what a race!

Längenfelder had passed Reisulis for third but then made a mistake which dropped him down to fifth! Karlis Reisulis will be delighted with a strong fourth.

Home hero, Julius Mikula finished sixth with Coenen in seventh.

Race Two: Liam Everts managed to take a better start in race two and was riding fantastic on his Nestaan Husqvarna as he checked out at the front of the field. Farres had made a move on Längenfelder but the German tried to respond putting in an aggressive pass on the championship leader but he took himself out. He had to pull out of the race with a sore arm.

There was a great battle for third with Karlis race holding off McLellan to secure his first ever MX2 GP podium!

Maxime Grau took his best MX2 race results with an impressive sixth ahead of Coenen.
