Race One: It was an intense opening moto at a ever increasing Maggiora hard pack circuit. Sacha Coenen grabbed the holeshot on his Factory KTM but made a mistake and Liam Everts took advantage to get to the front.

Laengenfelder was close for the first half before Everts responded and pulled away at the front. Adamo put the pressure on but ended up third.

The Husqvarna’s were right at the back but both worked really well to come through the field despite it being so hard to pass. De Wolf got back up to seventh with Coenen ending up in seventh.

Valerio Lata was superb on his Beddini GasGas finishing fifth in front of his home fans.

Race Two: Sacha Coenen got the holeshot and never looked back to take another impressive race win but even better than that – the overall, two in a row!

Everts was in fourth and needed to pass Valerio Lata to win the GP but also had pressure behind from Adamo but Lata held onto third to take his first MX2 GP podium in third overall – what a ride!

Lucas Coenen rode well for second but couldn’t do anything about his brother – Kay de Wolf got a bad start in seventh but ended up sixth at an extremely track hard to overtake on.
