Race results: EMX250 RD8 – Arco 3

Race One:

It was a superb first EMX250 race! Nicholas Lapucci got the holeshot but then crashed on the opening lap leaving Andrea Bonacorsi in the lead ahead of Kevin Horgmo. The Norwegian huffed and puffed the whole moto and then really went for it with two laps to go but just couldn’t make a move stick around a very slick circuit.

Bonacorsi might be an EMX250 rookie but he’s really starting to show the pace and potential he has. After the crash left Lapucci outside the top ten he made a lot of passes to come back to third ahead of Cornelius Toendal and Hakon Fredriksen.

Race Two:

Another superb race! Nicholas Lapucci grabbed the holeshot but with Kevin Horgmo in hot pursuit and after the Italian rider looked to ride defensively the riders behind started to catch in what was superb racing!

Hakon Fredriksen was one rider on the move as he came from outside the top ten to second but Liam Everts had other ideas. The Belgian needed to re-pass Fredriksen to secure a podium and he did just that on the final lap but crashin on a down hill which was a real shame. It helped Nicholas Lappuci finish third ahead of Jeremy Sydow.

Race one winner, Andrea Bonacorsi crashed on the opening lap and then once again charging through the field – he ended up tenth but missed out on the podium.
