Race results: EMX125 RD8 – Arco 3

Race One:

Lucas Coenen took the holeshot and simply dominated the opening EMX125 race. Things were looking good for Valerio Lata as he was comfortable in second until three laps to go when there was drama. A backmarker crashed and Lata had nowhere to go, then Bruce hit Lata’s bike and crashed as well.

Bruce got back going in third but Lata looked sore and seemed to have a bike issue but was able to come home in sixth.

Karlis Alberts Reisulis took advantage of the drama to finish a superb second and Cas Valk also rode well for fourth.

Ivano van Erp was caught up in a first corner pile up and then crashed coming through the field, after being way back he did well to come back to sixteenth.

Race Two:

It was much the same for Lucas Coenen in race two as he took the holeshot and dominated proceedings. After the first moto didn’t go to plan for van Erp he responded well in the second moto to finish second – he’ll be happy to end his day on a high note.

The second moto was all about the Lata and Bruce battle though! Lata was ahead at the beginning but started to drop back with around five minutes to go and the Brit made an aggressive pass. The MRT KTM rider tried to respond but couldn’t as they caught Reisulis but the Latvian held on to a superb second spot for his first EMX125 podium.
