Race One: The first race felt a bit like an ADAC Youngsters Cup race as Nico Stenberg and Saku Mansikkamäki were running first and second – looking pretty good at the beginning of the race. Garcia was fourth and was patient but finally got to the front tripling past Stenberg.
Gyan Doensen was outside the top five but rode well to finish in second ahead of Liam Owens. Mads Fredsoe was second before ending up fourth.
Nicolai Skovbjerg loves making life difficult for himself – he was P26 on the first lap but ended up coming through to sixth – great pace but he needs to work on those starts.
Race Two: It was Jekabs Kubulins who took the holeshot to the delight of his home crowd. Garcia was the man on the move though as it didn’t take the BUD Kawasaki rider to get the front and he never looked back.
Owens had a strong ride in second as he continues to get back to his best – he took his first podium of the season. Kubulins rode well to bring home third ahead of Fredsoe.
Doensen finished sixth which was enough for third overall.
