Race One:
What a superb race! It was the Valerio Lata and the Ivano van Erp show with the latter getting a bad start but making plenty of passes to catch Lata who had passed Bobby Bruce who was leading the first half of the race.
After Van Erp passed Bruce it was on at the front and the pair swapped positions a number of times, in the end Lata just did enough to win the first moto in front of his home crowd – superb racing!
Race Two:
The second EMX125 race saw the same two riders right at the front. This time Ivano van Erp held the lead and it was Valerio Lata trying to chase down the talented Dutch youngster. With three laps to go he was close but then too many backmarkers seemed to get in his way and Van Erp had a nice lead to get the job done. A 1-2 meant Van Erp wins his third overall of the championship.
Even though Lata wasn’t able to win the overall he still extended his championship lead. Bobby Bruce had a solid day to finish 3-4 for third overall and yet another podium.
