The MXGP qualifying race provided some great racing between the big four in the class at the moment! They all got around the first corner unscathed and it was actually Herlings who was leading around the first corner – that is rare!
Gajser made a quick pass before Herlings passed him back again but the Slovenian was determined and pass him back again. Prado was in third watching before passing Herlings and then caught Gajser for the lead. A statement from the Spaniard in front of his home fans.
Febvre, meanwhile was on the move after passing Herlings he caught the front two but then dropped it promoting Herlings to third who started to ride better towards the end as well. Tomorrow could be fireworks between the main four!
Calvin Vlaanderen rode well for fifth holding off Jeremy Seewer with Valentin Guillod in seventh.
