Jeffrey Herlings grabbed the holeshot and never looked back as he brought home a qualifying race win. He did have some pressure behind from Gajser but then the Slovenian made a couple of mistakes and he couldn’t make the gap back up to Herlings again.
Gajser then had his hands full with Febvre but the Yamaha man was able to finish in second.
Tom Vialle had a bit of a lonely rider in fourth with Ruben Fernandez getting back to fifth after a not so good start.
Pauls Jonass rode well on his first race back since Foxhill coming home in sixth.
