Tim Gajser passed the likes of Jorge Prado and Mitch Evans to take the MXGP qualifying race win at Arco di Trento. It was fantastic to see Evans be right at the front and even lead before fading back to third but after a couple of difficult years it was fantastic to see.
Glenn Coldenhoff rode well to hold off Brian Bogers for fourth with Alberto Forato just behind in sixh.
