What a race by Thibault Benistant! He only made his return to racing last weekend but that didn’t stop him from winning the MX2 qualifying race in what was an action packed race going on behind him on a rough and slick track.
Kay de Wolf was able to make a move on Simon Laengenfelder to bring home a strong second. It was all going on for the battle for fourth as Tom Vialle found himself parked behind Rick Elzinga who rode really well but started to drop back as he’s not used to the MX2 intensity.
Kevin Horgmo was the man on the move as he benefited from the battling going on ahead of him and finished a strong fifth.
Jago Geerts crashed early in the moto and ended up a disappointing eighteenth spot.
