Conditions quickly changed from the EMX250 race as the MX2 GP riders had to deal with mud. Lucas Coenen got a great start on his Husqvarna leading around turn one but his twin, Sacha went straight on at turn one and Kay de Wolf plus others were lucky not to tag him.

Marc-Antoine Rossi benefitted from a good start which are needed with conditions being tough and one lined. He was second before Liam Everts passed him in what ended up being a Belgian 1-2 but third was still strong for Rossi.

Kay de Wolf didn’t get a good start but he recovered all the way to fourth passing Andrea Adamo who ended up fifth.

Simon Laengenfelder got a bad start but got back to seventh.
