Official: William Kleeman signs with AIT Racing

William Kleeman recently got injured racing the MX2 World Championship which took place in Maggiora, the full extent of the injury was a broken hand. The good news is that the young Dane after a month off the bike has recently started riding again.

Starting the season with Schmicker KTM, Kleeman has actually parted ways with the team and instead has inked a deal with AIT KTM Racing to end his season.

The AIT KTM team have been on the look out for a new rider after Xavier Cazal decided to walk away from racing at the highest level and they’ve now agreed a deal with Kleeman.

With Federico Tuani recently making his return to racing, the team will now have two MX2 GP riders for the rest of the season (excluding China) with Kleeman making his debut in Sweden this weekend.

Petar Petrov raced for the team at Lommel and will also race the Dutch GP at Arnhem.

“Honestly it just worked out very good for me and I’m very happy with all the people so far within the AIT Racing team…

“They have been amazing and done a solid job of putting me on the bike after my injury with a very limited amount of time so all I can say to them is thank you”, Kleeman told GateDrop.com.

The AIT Racing Team is proud to announce that William Kleemann will join the team. Kleemann is a well known rider in the EMX250 and the MX2 World Championship and will ride his first race for the team this weekend at the MXGP of Sweden in Uddevalla.

Under the guidance of Petar Petrov, Kleemann is aiming to make the next step in his career. He already scored world championship points on a regular basis this year but he is aiming to improve on these results in the rest of the season.

This weekend the team will go out with three riders at the MXGP of Sweden. Venicslav Toshev in the EMX125 class and Federico Tuani and William Kleemann in the MX2 class.
