The Danish based team of KL Racing continues to strengthen, as they will also be adding young Lucas Søndergaard in 2025. Lucas tried himself in several divisions of EMX250 last year and managed to improve from time to time. The European Championship class will also be the focus this year and the young Danish rider is happy to have been given the chance.
The KL Racing team are really stepping up for the 2025 season as they’ll become a full time Motocross Grand Prix team and will have five riders under the awning.
Lucas Søndergaard told MX-Index:
“Last year didn’t go quite as I had hoped. When I went into the season, in relation to the A-DM, I think I had the speed to be well inside the top 10, but I had a hard time putting together a whole day. At the European Championships, on the other hand, I got to drive many more heats and score 2 points. And I also got a lot more experience in the European Championships. I’m really happy that I’ve had the opportunity to make an agreement with KL Racing Team. There are a lot of good people in the team who are passionate about it, and next year there are a lot more European Championships on the program – and then also some Danish Championships for me.”
The teams rider line up for the 2025 season is as follows:
Nicolaj Skovgaard (MXGP)
Oscar Brix (MX2)
Magnus Smith (MX2)
Lucas Sondergaard (EMX250)
Malou Jakobsen (WMX)
