MX2 race results: Lierop International – De Wolf dominates


In the first race, Kay de Wolf got a good start and led ahead of the Coenen’s and Cas Valk. Both Coenen’s had issues with Sacha DNF’ing and Lucas dropping down the order which allowed the impressive Cas Valk get to second.

Hakon Fredriksen, as usual had to come through the field and was way back but was able to finish an incredible third making passes left, right and centre.

EMX250 riders Nico Greutmann and Nicolai Skovberg impressed finishing fourth and fifth respectively.

Kay de Wolf lapped Hakon Osterhagen who finished sixth to show the pace he was setting at the front.

In the second moto, it was much of the same for Kay de Wolf but this time he had Lucas Coenen hot on his heels. Coenen though made a mistake which allowed de Wolf to dominate. Coenen was able to pass his twin, Sacha to get back into second.

Valk rode solid for fourth with Fredriksen again coming from way back to get himself back to fifth.
