Miro Sihvonen tests positive for COVID-19

It hasn’t been an easy time for Miro Sihvonen as he’s been dealing with an ankle issue and recently he started to feel weak. The JWR Honda rider got a COVID-19 test and the result was positive so he now has to self-isolate.

“I don’t want to be shy about it and let you guys know that on top of this ankle issue I just received the bad news that I’ve been tested corona positive… I started to wonder a few days ago why I’m feeling so damn weak and can’t train anything. At first I thought I’m just a little sick with a blocked nose but now we know. So, I cannot even go to watch the races in Lommel because of having to be in quarantine. To top off even that I’m suffering from a blossoming wisdom tooth (laughs). To be positive I can only say that at least it’s 3 things at once. It won’t be the easiest task to come back in 100% shape after all this but once again I will give my everything to make the best out of it. I wish the best of luck to my team, JWR Honda Racing this weekend and I hope they do well”, Sihvonen stated on social media.
