All season long Cole McCullough has been the only rider from Ireland/Northern Ireland to be present in the GP paddock but he won’t be the only one at the very last round. The Irish MXoN squad of Martin Barr, Jason Meara, Glenn McCormick and reserve rider, Stuart Edmonds will all race the MXGP World Championship class this weekend at Matterley Basin.

In the EMX125 class, Micheàl Mc Cullagh has also decided to put an entry in to end the season racing against some of the best young talents in the world. It sounds like he might try and race more in EMX125 rounds in 2024 which is great to see.

Micheàl Mc Cullagh: We have decided to enter the EMX125 at Matterley Basin this weekend. We want to see were I stand and how much work needs done for so I can qualify comfortably for the EMX125 championship next year. This is a dream of mine to race at Matterley Basin during a Grand Prix weekend so no matter what happens this weekend we will have fun and just enjoy the experience.
