Max Spies and Maddii Fantic Racing part ways

Max Spies has spent the last two years under the Maddii Racing awning which even seen him clinch the EMX2T title. However, the young German has confirmed he’s parted ways with the team.

It remains to be seen what Spies will do for the 2022 season but he’s a rider with plenty of potential so hopefully we can see him line up in the EMX250 series.

“It is time for me to say “goodbye” to Fantic Factory Team Maddii & Fantic Racing. I really appreciate everything they have done and what they have made out of me! I think without you guys in the last 2 years I wouldn’t be what I am now. We have won two Championships, in two years, with two different bikes. I got European Champion and also made my first MX2 points with you. We made it trough some hard but also a lot of good times together . In the end our ways are splitting here , and I am really looking forward to the future! Thank you also to all the mechanics Filippo Bulfoni, Sampei CC, Giacomo Dentiii, Matteo Lancellotti! Especially I’m going to miss my buddy Hakon Osterhagen, hope we see us soon again and also if we are racing against each other now! A lot of great people I have met down there, and I am happy to have been a part of that!”, Spies stated on social media.
