After the first moto, it was looking good for France but it all went wrong for them in the second moto. Tom Vialle took a bad start buried in twentieth and then his chain fell off resulting in a DNF. His team mate, Mathys Boisrame didn’t have a great time at a very difficult and challenging track as he came home in nineteenth!
At the front, Jeffrey Herlings dominated to take a much needed win for the Netherlands but they aren’t having a great day either as Roan Van De Moosdijk finished twentieth.
Valentin Guillod rode a superb race to come home in second ahead of Rene Hofer and Brent Van Doninck. Hofer won the MX2 overall on the day edging out Mattia Guadagnini thanks to a better second moto result.
Heading into the final moto Italy now lead the Nations classification but only have a point over Belgium who are surprising everyone with their consistency. GB are currently holding a fine third position with team MFR (Russia) are surprising in fourth as well.
