No big shocks in the Open free practice as Jeffrey Herlings set the pace at the head of the field as he set his quickest lap on his final lap. Evgeny Bobryshev and Alessandro Lupuno impressed by putting in two fast laps to round out the top three.
Shaun Simpson put in the eighth quickest time for team GB with Stuart Edmonds in twenty-first for Ireland.
