Jose Butron to race the AMA Nationals

Jose Butron has so much experience in the sport having raced the World Championship for a number of years as well as a number of National championships. The Spaniard has announced that he’ll travel to America to race the opening round of the AMA Nationals taking place at Pala this weekend.

The Spaniard posted the following statement on social media:

“After 13 years of running in the MXGP World Championship, struggling and achieving success, 3rd in Mx2, podiums, winning the European’s etc… Taking a new course in my sports career, any riders dream, racing the AMA American Motocross Championship. Yes, next week I will be on the grid with the 107 dorsal in 450cc alongside the Yanks in the first race of Pala, Fox Raceway (California), where my goal will be to adapt as quickly as possible to these tracks and do it the best I can… I will be competing with team Wildcat Raceteam based in Florida and together with my partner Lorenzo Locurcio we created a new project with nice future expectations, where the idea is to have an infrastructure in the United States,
the road has not been easy, very big budgets with the help of all the sponsors  (we are still open to any kind of help). Thank you my people, I’m informing you about the American dream”.
