Jonass on his injury – most painful days of my life

Pauls Jonass, after a brilliant season, has had a nightmare few days after dislocating his shoulder and breaking his arm in a first turn crashing then enduring poor medical treatment at the track. Read more here.

Jonass, who was due to race his home GP in Latvia this weekend and in the best form of his premier class career, said on Instagram:

“Probably these were two toughest and most painful days of my life, result from the crash on Sunday.

“In Halle hospital they did surgery on my right humerus yesterday morning and now I’m on the way to Herentals to do further evaluation of damage… Thanks everyone for support messages. I will keep you updated once I have more news.”
