Steve Ramon has been working with Jago Geerts as his rider coach for a number of years and the Belgian pair will once again be working together for the 2022 season. Both have been working hard to secure that MX2 World Championship but with many of the young guns improving rapidly while Geerts has immense talent, the window of opportunity could be running out.
It’ll be a big year for Geerts as he battles for another MX2 championship – he goes into the season as one of the favourites along with Tom Vialle but it’s setup for an exciting season. Yamaha will be hoping Geerts can deliver the title and do what Renaux did last year – there’s no doubt he has the speed and the talent to do just that.
