- Jalek Swoll withdraws from second SuperMotocross World Championship playoff.
- #33 continues to recover from the incident in Charlotte. Additional updates to follow.
Triumph Racing’s Jalek Swoll will sit out the second SuperMotocross World Championship playoff at Texas Motor Speedway following his crash at the previous playoff in North Carolina. Swoll suffered a concussion in the incident and will focus on returning to full fitness.
Swoll was seeded into the SuperMotocross World Championship playoffs in eighth after delivering impressive performances in the Monster Energy Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross. A podium at the historic track of Unadilla was a highlight of Swoll’s first term riding the TF 250-X at the pinnacle of off-road sport.
The SuperMotocross World Championship will conclude at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on September 21. Triumph Racing will continue to monitor Swoll’s condition and provide updates in due course.
Steve Westfall – Triumph Racing USA Team Manager:
“It is unfortunate that Jalek had a crash off the start at the first SuperMotocross World Championship playoff and suffered a concussion. To be on the safe side, he will sit out this weekend and recover. We will reevaluate next week and determine if he is 100% prepared to race in Las Vegas.”
