Chance Hymas went from fifth to first in a lap and looked to be solid out front with the laps winding down until he hit a braking bump wrong and went down really hard! Thankfully Hymas was eventually able to get up and ride back to the pits, but that was a scary one for Hymas who was having one of the best rides of his career.
Honda team manager Lars Lindstrom said: Unbelievably he’s not showing any signs of being hurt, he did have the wind knocked out of him, he’s going to get evaluated by the Alpinestars medical unit, hopefully he will be able to go out in the next race. We are thankful he is not hurt worse.”
