Giuseppe Luongo: There is a very good chance of having an MXGP double header in Matterley Basin

We heard rumours a couple of weeks ago that Matterley Basin might get more rounds of the MXGP World Championship before the end of the season.

The circuit hosted the second round of the 2021 MXGP season but with the oversea events in Indonesia and Argentina in doubt, Matterley Basin could be back on the calendar and host a double header event this year.

Giuseppe Luongo from Infront Moto Racing has now confirmed that there is a very good chance Matterley Basin will be back on the calendar this year which is great news for British Motocross fans.

“There is a very good chance to have a double header in Matterley Basin as substitution for the overseas events. England is the country which is the most open in Europe and Steve Dixon is one of MXGP’s most loyal partners”, Luongo told Geoff Meyer from MXLarge.
