Gariboldi praise for Fernandez

After a fantastic MXGP opener for Ruben Fernandez winning the first GP of his career in Argentina, it’s no surprise to see HRC Honda team manager, Giacomo Gariboldi praise the Spanish rider.

What made the win even more impressive was that Tim Gajser was out injured so Fernandez had the pressure of being the sole rider under the HRC Honda but he couldn’t have had a better debut with the factory team.

If Fernandez can keep up that kind of riding there’s no reason why he can’t be a consistent front runner and be the surprise of the season.

“When we signed Ruben Fernandez for the 250 team three years ago not many in the paddock would have believed he could do what he did yesterday in Argentina, win a GP in the MXGP class! But often the most valued gold nuggets are hidden under the…..mud 🌟 Congrats mate, you really deserve it and we know this is just the beginning of a nice successful story”, Gariboldi stated on social media.
